Well another week comes to an end, another hectic week filled with work- too much to cope with as usual! The exercise has been going well, did a 90 minute gym session on Monday, spinning and a jog on Wednesday, Badminton last night for an hour and a gym session on Sunday, The gym sessions have been quote good this week to be honest, I’m putting that down to updating my iPod, it’s so cool having a batch of fresh beats to listen to!

This came on whilst i was in the gym, sick bassline! it’s like a big machine/robot type thing but in a musical format.

On a separate rant, does anyone else have an issue with the capslock on the Apple keyboard, it is driving me insane! Because I type pretty quickly it doesn’t always register me pressing it, I’m not sure if it’s just my keyboard that’s faulty??

I’ve been having massive withdrawals recently and would really love to go back to Bali soon, just one day on the beach at Tembok would go down a right treat! This is the traditional Balinese music that they played at night when eating your meal, brings back some good memories!

On the Great North Run front I had some good news today, I didn’t get in the original ballot but the Parkinson’s Disease Society called me this morning and have allowed me to run for them which is great, i went on my first road run the other night, I did around 4 miles in 31 minutes which i was happy with, didn’t half hurt yesterday though!!

I purchased a Nike Plus thingy and some new Nike trainers before hand which work a treat, it’s good having someone to tell you exactly how far you’ve run and a log on your laptop of your training.

Been a busy week so far! I had a meeting on Sunday about my next business venture with a few members of my family, very exciting stuff! Ill be able to give a bit more information soon, but for now it’s all in the planning.

Trainings been good, I’ve found i can run on the roads, just not on the treadmill, for some reason on the treadmill it feels like someones stabbing my shins after a mile but when i’m out on the road it’s all good. I’ve finally finished watching Gavin and Stacey, Uncle Bryn is an absolute legend!!! I’d definitely recommend it, great viewing!

It’s been an expensive month so far! Windows Vista has been a painful experience for the last two years, I decided instead of giving Bill more of my money I’d jump back to Mac, so far I’m so pleased I did it, the Mac runs like a dream and CS4 rules (even if Adobes customer service doesn’t) you wouldn’t believe how hard it was to upgrade CS4 from PC to Mac, it costs £600 and takes forever, i don’t think the people at Adobe knew what was happening to be honest!

Anyway, enough moaning about Adobe, here’s the beast!! (use Jigsaw 24 in Nottingham if you want a Mac, they are brilliant!)

Training for the great north run is going well, been going to the gym around 3 times a week and a nice game of badminton in between, next step is doing the sport relief run in Nottingham, makes the gym alot better having a reason for going!

Just discovered this guys music, made some quality music from what ive found…

I thought it would be a good idea for me to jot down on here what ive done exercise wise what ive done on here to keep a log so here it goes, from last nights gym session:

25 minutes cross trainer
20 minute run on some stupid treadmill program which took me up what seemed like mount everest
15 minutes on the bike

Quite a lame session to be honest but I was still aching from Saturdays and the treadmill killed me, 7.0% incline kills the calfs!

Signed up to the great North run yesturday, Ive been hitting the gym alot recently so I’ve already started training as such, but i’ll be picking it up now on the bike and hopefully getting out and about running, quite looking forward to it to be honest, means I’m actually training for a reason now instead of just to keep fit!
