Hmmmmmm, Neglect
Instead of pretending I have the time to do this blog im going to just try and post some of my favourite music, might be a little less time consuming!
Great Video
Just saw this on one of my mates Facebook profile, take a look, some amazing stuff, it gets better as it goes along!
Is he dead?
Well thats what all three of my readers may well be thinking, luckily I’m not, I’ve just been super busy at work, I thought I’d pop on now whilst I’m watching Chelsea thrash Liverpool and write a quick post, Im not a huge fan of posts like this though, so I’ll do an image post over the bank holiday, I really can’t wait to have a little break, I’ve been spending all my time working, going to the gym and sorting the wedding so Ive organised a few things over the weekend to catch up with people which I’m looking forward to.
I’ve still managed to do a fair bit whilst I’ve not been blogging, I’ve pretty much summed up my life in bullet point format (imagine me in front of you with a powerpoint presentation if you wish):
-Yo Sushi is great food and I’m ofishially (ha ha, excuse the pun) hooked
- I went to see the Rumble Strips in Sheffield, great band
- Marmaduke duke are ace
- My garden takes forever to sort out at the start of spring
- The weather in the Maldives in September isnt the best and has forced me to change my honeymoon plans
- My mate Rob played a great set at Digital Society in Leeds, great night
- Monkey Shoulder is the drink of Champions
Thats about it really (that I can remember), I’m off to see Dizzee Rascal and The Prodigy on Saturday, Happy Days!
I WILL post again soon and won’t leave it so long next time, Thats a pinky™ promise….
Happy Pancake Day!!
Well it’s quite possibly the biggest event of the year and in my opinion should be made a national holiday, Pancake day!
Hope you have a happy pancake day and end up feeling ill like me from eating too many (it happens every year). If you need a simple pancake recipe read on, this is how I make mine anyway (disclaimer: if you use this recipe and it doesn’t work and it ruins your pancake day I will not be held responsible!!)
- One cup of plain flour
- One cup of milk
- One egg
- A bit of oil
Instructions
- sift the flour in to a bowl
- whack in the cup of milk (dont put the actual cup in the mixture, just the milk)
- crack in the egg (again its not advisable to eat the shell but feel free to put it in if you like that crunching sensation!)
- whisk it all together until you have a smooth mix
- get the pan going with a little oil in to stop the pancake sticking (Tefal pans rule)
- pour in some mixture until it fills the pan (I prefer to use a little pan and make them thick!)
- My favourite topping is to chuck some chopped bannana in the mix in the pan and let the pancake cook around it, then whack some honey on when cooked- tastes great!
Enjoy!
